NEW! ORGANIC GARDENING PROGRAM
Calling all who are interested in growing organic produce for yourself and your family. The Columbian Garden Club is soliciting community members of all ages who are interested in being involved in an organic gardening educational program. GARDEN CLUB PURPOSE
To promote interest and activity in the beautification
of homes, yards, and communities.
CLUB PROJECTS
• Landscaping of the Corbett School District.
• Providing scholarships to Corbett High School students.
• Landscaping of the historic Springdale School.
• Maintaining the Blue Star Memorial at the Troutdale Railroad
Depot Museum.
• Monetary donations to a variety of organizations including
The Oregon Garden, the Vista House, and the Corbett Fire Department.
• Forcing Bulbs in Winter
MEETING TIME & PLACE
Time: 10 a.m. Meetings are held on the
second Wednesday of the month (between Sep and June) Place: Corbett Fire Hall meeting room, Historic
Columbia River Highway, Corbett, Oregon.
